Microphysiological Systems

In collaboration with Dr. Healy’s lab at UC Berkeley and Dr. Willenbring and Dr. Hsiao labs at UCSF, we developed a human isogenic fat-liver microphysiological system (MPS) to study obesity-induced metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) by modeling interorgan crosstalk between white adipose tissue and the liver.
